Summer is just around the corner and you might be wondering where to take your vacation in the Mediterranean? If you are searching for a small relaxing town away from mass tourists check out these two of my favourite hidden destinations in the Mediterranean:
Scopello, Sicily Italy
Scopello is a small authentic Sicilian village that is one of my favourite spots in Sicily. Scopello is just few kilometers from the Golf of Castellammare in the province of Trapani that is famous for the crystal clear water. This small town is incredibly charming and literally takes you back in time; it’s the perfect place if you really want to relax, enjoy the delicious Sicilian cuisine and soak up the sun.

Vejer de la Frontera ,Cadiz Spain
Vejer is a white-washed village on top of a hill that I was blown away by it’s charm. There is something magical about Vejer that one can only experience by visiting this place. Thanks to it’s position Vejer has a strong Moorish and Medieval architecture with narrow winding streets, white houses decorated with plants. On a clear day you can see the Moroccan coast from Vejer. If your searching for a small town full of history with excellent food, wine and the unspoilt beaches then you will love this little Spanish town.
